Discuss your requirementsOUR APPROACH
An early-stage company does not need a finance department. It needs the judgement a finance department is supposed to supply — about cash, about controls, about what an investor will ask — available at the moment a decision is being made.
We take responsibility for the finance function as a whole rather than for isolated filings. That includes the chart of accounts, the monthly close, the controls around cash and payroll, and the reporting the board and investors actually read.
We are explicit about the stage-appropriate answer. A seed-stage company needs a reliable close, a clean cap table and a cash runway it trusts. It does not need a transfer pricing policy or a five-year budget variance framework, and we will say so.
We work to the founders’ operating rhythm — a monthly reporting pack, a standing review, and availability between reviews when a decision cannot wait for the calendar.
